Mara's Birthday nail art month

DAY 4

Hello everyone,

welcome to the fourth day of my Birthday nail art month.

For today’s nail art I decided to bring some texture in and picked only sandy polishes.

Here is what I used

  • Sally Hansen – Sugar Coat – 250 spare a mint?
  • Sally Hansen – Sugar Coat – 500 Razzle berry
  • p2 – sand style – seductive

I started nice nail design with two coats of either 250 or 500, depending which color I wanted at the bottom.
As you can see I used 500 as a base on the pinky finger and the middle finger. 250 was used as a base on the ring finger, the pointing finger and the thumb. After the base was dry I used the opposite polish to paint a different shape on every nail, let it dry and traced the borders with the red p2 polish. I hope you understand what I mean, if not you can see it on the pictures.

I did not use a top coat, since it would ruin the sand/sugar effect.
I like the combination of “seductive” and the Sugar Coats.

HAULy friday – 23 – oops I did it again …. TKmaxx HAUL

Hey everyone,

a little late is today’s HAULy friday post.
After moving I went to TKmaxx again, I couldn’t help it.
This time I bought some ORLY, Sally Hansen, Ciaté, models OWN, O.P.I. and my first KOH polish.

Let’s see what I got.

O.P.I. top this! set

It includes (from left to right) top coat, matte top coat, snowflakes in the air and my boyfriend scales walls.

I am very excited about these because I read many good review on the matte top coat, also the glitter polish looks very lovely.

A lovely yellow with a hint of rose/pink shimmer, so special and soo~ pretty!

My first ever KOH polish. Usuly those coast around 20,- euro. I got this one for 6 euro. Let’s see if it’s good.

I admit it, I discovered models own polishes for myself. They have a good quality and some really nice colors.

Ciaté – corrupted neons kit

oh dear Ciaté, you will cost me my last shirt…..do you say it like that in English? Anyway, it basically means I love Ciaté polishes so much that they will make me poor. Wanted to buy the corrupted neons for so long but they are still at the original price. At TKmaxx I got the yellow one for half the price, YAY! Because let’s be honest, they yellow one would be the only one I would actually use :D

I looooo~ve the packaging! Just saying….

Again I am really excited about all the stuff I got. I payed about 40,- euro, which is okay I think if you know what the normal prices are for these.

Sunday Mani – fourteen – more fuzzy nails

Hey everyone,

it is sunday mani time :D

Today we have a crazy mess of different fuzzy polishes and one glitter/sequin polish.

As a base color I used this shimmery grey polish from POP beauty – nail glam. I applied two coats and let them dry properly.

For some you you this might be too much, but I love playing around with fuzzy coats. And I have no problem at all combining different colors and styles :)
