HAULy friday – 35 – TKmaxx korean skin care

hauly

Happy weekend everyone!

It is friday again so it’s time for a new HAULy friday blog post, where I show you products that I have bought recently.
If you read my blog regularly you know that I like to visit my local TKmaxx from time to time. For me it is a good place to check for nail polishes and recently also korean skin care products that you normally wouldn’t be able to get here.

I have a serious addiction with japanese and korean sheet mask. Since I use them daily in my skin care routine I am always in need of new sheet masks. Now let’s see what I got.

Disclaimer: advertisement – the following products were bought and paid by myself.

You might have already seen this picture on my Instagram account. I was lucky enough to find packs of the Jeju Natural canola honey mask (contains 10 masks), the Jeju Natural aloé mask (contains 10 masks), the CURE honey collagen essence mask (contains 5 masks) and the Earth Therapeutics nourishing avocado masks (contains 5 masks).

They were all very affordable. The packs of 10 were around 6 € and the packs of 5 were also around 5-6 €. I will review them in seperate postsafter I used up all of them, so please check back on that later.

Another thing I am also really excited about are the MEDIHEAL LINE FRIENDS – ampoule masks. As far as I know, there are 4 different kinds and I was lucky enough to get one each. I haven’t tried them yet, but will get to them soon and also review them in a seperate post.

A few weeks ago I was also able to get my hands on a couple of skin care products from Holika Holika, MIZON and W.Lab. While I was in TKmaxx I googled all of these products, there were just a few reviews that said these were nice, which is why I decided to give them a try as well.

First up is the Holika Holika Honey sleeping pack (90 ml), which is available in 3 variations. They offer bluberry, acerola and canola. For 10€ I picked up the last one, since it was the only one available at TKmaxx. You apply these after your skin care and leave them on while you are sleeping. The next morning your skin is supposed to feel much smoother, softer and nourished. The scent is also very subtile and pleasent.

I also found the MIZON Water volume EX cream (100 ml) and their Sweet honey (wash-off) mask (100 ml). Both were available for 10 €. I thought the packaging was really cute and when I read up on these products I knew I wanted to give them a try. I feel korean skin care products are still not as known in non-asian countries so I would like to give you some more information on their benefits.

The Water volume EX cream has a very light texture and is rather gel-like than a cream. It’s supposed to moisturize your skin and more importantly helps with the natural moisture production of your skin. Therefore it’s supposed to give you a radiant, hydrated skin texture.

The Sweet honey (wash-off) mask is also supposed to be used after your regular skin care, then rinsed off and will give you moisturized, smooth, nourished and glowing skin. I am excited to see how it works on me and will let you know later on.

Last up is the Snail Greentea Essence (50 ml) from W.Lab. I paid only 4 € for this, which is a great price point compare to the ~13 $ online. I am recently in love with snail mucin as a main ingredient in my daily skin care. Combined with green tea I thought this product would be really nice, but when I first used it and also the other times after that, I was a little disappointed. I gotta say my COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence works much better for me. I will still use this up though and give you a full review on it later.

That is it for today, I hope you liked this little HAUL. Please comment your favorite skin care products and your thoughts on snail mucin for skin care.

Have a great weekend
