Hello everyone,
as promised in my BeautyBloggerCafé 2015 – Event Review I would like to introduce you a bit more to Beni Durrer.
Beni Durrer is a Make-up brand made in Berlin. I already knew the brand when I went to the BeautyBloggerCafé and was really excited to meet the team behind the products and learn more about them.
You should check out their website since they nicely wrote down all the needed information about founder Beni Durrer and the companies philosophy. Beni Durrer creates a full range of make-up products, as well as skin care products, make-up brushes and other essentials. But if that’s not enough, Beni Durrer also founded a make-up school in Berlin, where you can learn to be a professional make-up artist or take workshops on how to do bridal make-up or other things as well.
On october 21st I got the chance to visit their showroom and also the school with my lovely friend Heidi (Heidi’s Polish). We already knew that they would introduce everyone to some new products and especially the Zahira winter look.
They did a presentation on how to apply the products used for this look and showed us how to re-create it.
The pictures above and the following pictures and discription below were kindly provided by the team of Beni Durrer. This way I can also show you how to re-create this festive look.
Are you ready?
As always when you apply your make-up, you should start with a clean and moisturised skin.
STEP 1
Foundation: Blend Studio-Make-up N°06 into cleansed and moisturised skin using the N°50 foundation
brush, leave out the eye area.
STEP 2
Concealer: Dab the HDTV Concealer N°210 on the spots to be highlighted under the eyes and carefully
blend in using clean fingers or the N°24 HDTV Concealer brush – less is more here!
STEP 3
Eyebrows: Brush them and go over them using the slanted N°09 eye contour brush and an eyeshadow
that matches the hairline, ESPRESSO in this case. Brush over them using the N°07 eyebrow brush.
STEP 4
Eyelid crease: Using the No°14 brush blend the warm NOUGAT shade into the eyelid crease and blend so
that you can still see the colour over the tops of the eyelashes when the eye is open.
STEP 5
Mascara: Apply generously from the base of the eyelashes on the upper and lower eyelid. Finish using the
small N°66 fan brush.
STEP 6
Cheek contours: Spread the reddish brown PRALINE eyeshadow using the new round N°54 contour brush
from the earlobe below the cheek bone towards the corner of the mouth and blend.
STEP 7
Lip contour: Go over the lip contours with the reddish brown KASTANIE contour pen and fill in.
STEP 8
Lip colour: The new EVA lip lacquer, a strong, classic red, gives lips drama and class, which is what this
look needs.
for an evening look, continue with the following steps
STEP 9
Eyeshadow: Generously line the eyes using the EBENHOLZ contour pen. Apply LAKRITZE eyeshadow to
the upper lid using the N°35 eyeshadow applicator brush and softly blend upwards.
STEP 10
Lowlight: MAGIE – the eyeshadow name says it all. For more depth dab the seductive shiny shade over the
black and blend towards the edge.
STEP 11
Eyebrows: Mix BALLHAUS glimmer with a bit of FIXATOR and apply carefully to the eyebrows using the N°59 flat brush. Work neatly and leave the individual layers to dry.
STEP 12
Blusher: Apply the SCHÜCHTERN beige-rosé blusher using the small N°05 powder brush to the cheeks
using circular movements.

Now on to the location
After the presentation was done, we walked around the showroom and make-up school. It was so nice! Just look at the pictures I took.
the make-up school
Of course I could not pass up the chance to check out all the pretty products and get a little advice for my skin and make-up. Everyone was so nice and attentive.

Look at these amazing brushes!

This BALLHAUS glitter display was my favorite! You know how much I love glitter!
I gotta say that I was already impressed with the pigments at the BeautyBloggerCafé. They come as pressed or loose pigments and can be used as eyeshadows, eye brow powder oder even for contouring. I really needed an eye brow powder, which is why I asked them which color would suit me best. I also got advice on peeling. I usually used the sea sand peeling from AOK, but didn’t get the result I would want. I still had danders, which you could really see when I had make-up on. Beni and Daniel advised me to try their powder peeling, so I had a little shopping trip.
As you know we already received one pressed pigment at the BeautyBloggerCafé. This one is called tausendschön.
At the Beni Durrer event I bought the following:
pressed pigment lehm (clay)
We also received a few early christmas presents. The pretty BALLHAUS glitter
and a beautiful gold mirror for the handbag.
After using the products for a few weeks now, I can say that they are really worth their money. The powder peeling is amazing! I am so happy I bought it. My skin feels so much softer now. The danders are gone and I can apply make-up now without feeling bad. The pressed pigment are great as well. They are highly pigmented and last all day.
I think you should give them a try.
