Hey lovelies,

today I have the last two polishes from the Maybelline Colorshows I bought shortly before our move and the best thing, I also have 2 fun nail design for you to get you in the mood for Mara’s Birthday nail art month where I post a new nail art everyday in the month of August.

754 pow green

This is a kind of lime green color. So far I didn’t own a polish like this and I am not sure what to think of it^^
The quality of the polish is good, don’t get me wrong, but I am not sure whether I like the color or not haha

What do you think?

For the nail design I used Maybellines new nail art pen’s in turquoise and silver.
It was really fun to play with these, especially since they worked very well. I would probably not pay 5 euro for these, but since they were offered for free when you get a Colorshow polish, I must say it was more than a good deal. That’s why I bought enough polishes to get two nail art pen’s of each color haha

120 urban turquoise

This is a simple turquoise polish, it reminds me of a mix between Ciaté’s ditch the heel and Ciaté’s headliner. It’s a nice mix of blue and green even though the picture makes it look more blue. In real it looks a bit more green – simply turquoise^^
The quality is standard for the Colorshow polishes so there is not much to say about that. Application good, brush okay, dry time good.
With two coats you get a nice opaque finish.

For this nail art I used the white and silver nail art pens.

Also I don’t want to brag but I really love how this design turned out. I like the combination of the turquoise with the white and silver. Somehow it reminds me of the Henna painting I did when I was younger. I loved doing Henna Art on my hands.
