[Review] Ciaté’s Mini Mani Month American Set – PP161 encore

Hello everyone,

even though most of my reviews were pretty positive, let me assure you that the Mini Mani Month Gift Set also contained polishes I did not like.

Today’s polish is one of them.

The color itself is okay. It’s an old red if that makes sense. It is not as bright as play date and a bit darker.
One thing I realized immediately though was that this polish is not as liquid as the others I reviewed.
This polish is more of a creamy consistency, which I personally don’t like.
It makes it difficult to spread the color evenly and to get into the corners of the nail. For me creamy polishes always feel gluey, I really hate that. You just won’t get a thin coat, but one thick coat after the other.
Usually thick coats layered on top of each other causes more splitting after a short time (1-2 days). At least for me.
A creamy consistency is a turn off for me and unless I really love the polish I probably won’t use it often.
Sometimes I thin it out with a few drops of nail polish remover, but since I am also not a big fan of this color I might not even do that.

I was wondering if this color is always this creamy or if I got a Monday product. Let me know if you have this polish if you experienced the same problem with this polish.
